Workshops and tuition in glass fusing is available for individuals, groups and schools. The workshops are suitable for complete beginners or those with some previous experience of working with glass.
Workshops can be tailored to the needs of the individual.
Work by Year 11 and 12 students

During the day, students learn the fundamentals of kiln formed glass including: glass cutting, compatibility, adding metals and colours, and firing.
By the end of the day students will have translated designs into decorative glass work which will be fired and collected/delivered at a later date.

Fused Glass Workshop

Where:- Ropewalk Contemporary Art & Craft The Ropewalk Maltkiln Road Barton upon Humber North Lincolnshire DN18 5JT
Cost:- £30 deposit, plus £35 on the daySlumping optional £5 per item
Equipment and materials all provided.
Suitable for beginners and those who have previous glass fusing experience. Spend the day having fun creating your own fused glass work. There will be opportunity to make panels, hangings, coasters, jewellery. Participants will have ample time to make at least 2 items.
